Greener way, fresher days Euro III buses lead the pace In early July 2001, New World First Bus ("NWFB") announced the entry into service of its first EURO III bus. To promote the launch of the EURO III bus service, a 12-metre Volvo Super Olympian with an Alexander ALX500 body (5070 / KC 6983), which is one of the new EURO III buses, was painted with an all-over orange advertising livery. EURO III engine is the highest environmental standard currently available in the bus manufacture market worldwide. These new air-conditioned double-deck buses will be powered by EURO III engine with a built-in CRT catalytic converter. Coupled with the advanced technology of the Volvo Emission Control System - Exhaust Gas Recirculation ("EGR") and fueled with ULSD, these buses not only conform to the very stringent EURO III emission standards but with levels comparative to EURO IV when fueled by ULSD.
