Jordan Road Ferry Bus Terminus

Memories - [ 1 | 2 ]

Jordan Road Ferry Concourse was an important transport interchange between buses and ferries in the old days. Taking ferries was the only method to travel across the Victoria Harbour before the opening of the Cross Harbour Tunnel. (1970)

During the past years, the surrounding scenes were changed significantly. Skyscrapers replaced the ferry pier building to become the background of the bus terminus. "Golden buses" of 3 different bodies are seen in this photo. They are (from left to right) Neoplan Centroliner, Alexander and Volgren Volvo Olympians. (2002/12/28)

Two photographs with a similar angle.
Can you see the changes during the 10-year time?
